What's in store...

for the third week of August 2011.

First and foremost we are having a sale on Saturday, August 13.  (I know...that is technically still the second week of August.)  All delica beads will be 50% off.  If you subscribe to our e-mail then there is a coupon in the most current mailing for other discounts Saturday.

Classes:
 Embellished Spiral Rope Bracelet:
This is a free class being offered August 15th at 5:00 pm.  We request you buy your supplies from us for this class.  You will need size 10 or 12 beading needles and either Nymo thread or Fireline.  You will purchase size 8 and 11 seed beads and a variety of larger beads for the embellishment.  You will also need a clasp.

Summer Night Out necklace:  What a fantastic project for the beginning beader.  This Ruby's Beadwork Design necklace is perfect for the young beader as well.  This project uses size 11 seed beads and either 4mm fire polish beads or a larger seed bead or shaped seed bead for the accent.  You will also need size 10 or 12 beading needles and fireline.
August 16th; 5:00 pm
Class cost $10 and includes the pattern.

Our last class for next week has no picture.  We are offering a free beginning knitting class.  Bring a set of knitting needles if you have them and we will match the yarn to the needles.  Sized 6 to size 8 is recommended for beginners.  You will learn to cast-on and do the knit stitch.  If there is time you will also learn to do the purl stitch.  You can make a basic scarf, washcloth, or blocks for an afghan.  This class is free so we ask that you buy your supplies from us.
August 17th, 5:00 pm
Free class!

That about covers it for now.  Time for me to get back to working on my submission for the Beading For a Cure Challenge.

Happy Stitching,
Annette
